Stewardship for me means giving back to Christ some time, talent and monetary support He has blessed me with, that it may help in the ministry of the Church.

So Why do I give? So that my children learn from example. Because it is my duty. Because it is in service to others. Because it is done in obedience and service to the most high God. Because it rewards me an inner joy, peace and satisfaction.

When I look at the cornerstone on the church, I'm aware that a multitude of stewards developed and nurtured a congregation here for many years before my arrival. Today, while the building stands, and there are efforts for outreach programs, the tasks become harder. Who will be the responsible manager of this parish entrusted to one's care? The simple answer is, each and every one of us. So, that's why I give. I am happy to share my time, talent, and treasure as part of an effort to sustain this congregation, the buildings, and the programs for those of us who are here, and for those who are yet to come.

Unquestionably, my giving has been inspired by those with whom I gather to worship on Sundays. The generous hearts of those who fill the pews constantly remind me what God expects of his children – to give humbly, selflessly and to care for those in need. 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.' Matthew 25:40

I was introduced to Christ Church in 1988 by a very close friend. The first day I attended Sunday service, I was warmly received by members of the congregation. I observed the strong family relationships, which reminded me of the church I grew up in. As the years progressed, I gained a sense of belonging. Yes, I was truly at home.  Christ Church became my place of worship, and a base from which to serve the Lord; through our Sunday school and outreach programs, in the South Amboy and Sayreville communities.
